E. Bruce Borner, CEO

E. Bruce Borner, President and CEO of Computer Projections, has over 30 years of high level management experience in the technology industry serving the Healthcare, Fashion, Construction, Manufacturing and Association Industries. His focus includes: technology management, database application development, supply chain automation, database enabled web development and design, disparate systems interfacing, and requirements planning.

Mr. Borner began his career at Nibco (The Northern Indiana Brass Company) in a team of two, designing and programming an integrated sales, inventory control, accounts receivable system and installing it in warehouses across the United States.   As systems engineer he researched robotic technology as it applies to manufacturing and heavily influenced the company’s foray into the use of CNC/DNC computer controlled machinery.

As project manager for a management seminar firm Mr. Borner led a team of developers in the specification and development of an interactive registration system handling over 100,000 registrants annually.

Bruce prepared a strategic systems plan for Ralph Lauren’s Polo division in his role as systems consultant for a NYC accounting firm.

He led a team of 11 programmers at Main Hurdman, now KPMG, as part of a project to replace the billing system for the company and all of its offices across the country.

Mr. Borner started Computer Projections, Inc. in 1983 with a contract from Yale University’s Psychiatric Institute to develop a patient care system, which led to a contract with NYC’s Lenox Hill Hospital to develop a patient care system for their Department of Psychiatry.  The system provided appointment scheduling, computer aided treatment plans, medications prescribed, diagnoses assigned, insurance tracking and an automated interface with the hospital’s billing system.

Bruce has a BS in Business Management/Accounting from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), from global leader IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Bruce lives in Westport, CT with his wife Kerry.   Together they have two children, Emily and Liam.

Luis Rivera, Engineer

Luis Rivera has over 15 years of experience in the Information Technology industry serving companies in the banking, government, fashion and security industries. He has a Computer Science Engineering degree from the Laureate International Universities associate UDLA (Universidad de las Americas).

In the beginnings of his career, Luis worked for software development companies implementing projects for Centro Mundo Bank, Ministry of Education of Ecuador, BANRED (banking and finance), GIZ – German Corporation for International Cooperation, USAID and others. In 2007 he became a consultant for the IT industry.

He led the programming team to create software for managing photo enforcement programs for vehicle speed infractions in multiple cities in Ecuador. The system communicates with speed cameras and public agencies to set speeding tickets for violations. The platform improves traffic safety and positively changes drivers’ behavior in the community.

His focus includes: Internet applications development, database development, web programming and server administration.

Luis lives in Quito, Ecuador. His passions are technology, music, fitness, family and friends. In his leisure time he plays the guitar and enjoys working out and a fitness lifestyle.
